Introduction

Knights Protection Services (KPS) was born from the increasing need for professional protection in South Africa. We pride ourselves in giving personal service and attention to our clients and their assets at all times.

Chris Pretorius, Director of KPS, began his career in the South African National Defence Force.  From there he became part of a crime fighting unit, protecting NKP’s as well as VIP’s and their assets.  He did crime scene investigations, high risk protection, event management, high risk high speed driving, counter intelligence and vehicle and foot patrols, searching for weapons and ammunition caches. He spent many years doing VIP Protection and Event Security for well-known public and entertainment figures. Chris is a qualified Krav Maga- and firearm instructor.  The experience he gained there gives the company a tremendous advantage. Chris is proficient and has obtained his individual and business SAPS competency in handgun, shotgun, rifle and hand carbine.
